Up a winding drive off Redrooffs Road in Halfmoon Bay stands the serene hideaway of Blackberry Hill. Backing onto Welcome Woods and some 30 miles of trails, you can spend your mornings at work then take off for an afternoon hike or a bike ride through the trails. There are also lush gardens where you can enjoy the spectacular views of Georgia Strait, or head down the road for a swim at Welcome Beach. For a whole day’s excursion you can rent kayaks at Halfmoon Bay or drive up to Egmont and check out the Skoomkumchuk rapids, stop for lunch at Ruby Lake Resort.
The cottage has been completely renovated and features tile and laminate floors, spacious double bedroom with full 4-piece bath, huge living area with woodstove, and small kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave and other basic appliances and utensils. Outside your door you’ll see eagles soaring overhead and hear the chorus of songbirds from the pond filled with koi.
